INTRODUCING OUR JANUARY 2022 PROFESSIONAL OF THE MONTH Albert T Grey Jr.

AL GREY JR (AKA CAPTAIN BOOGIE)

Al Grey Jr. Has been in the business for over 40yrs. Starting out as a DJ. & providing sound for local DJ’s such as Jazzy Jeff & Will (The Fresh Prince) & local bands. From there Al worked at the Philadelphia Academy of Music providing sound for such groups as The Delfonics, Bobby Womack, Phyllis Hyman, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Billy Paul & many more.

Al’s company Outta Sight Productions was the first Afro American company to work and provide sound at the Academy of Music, Merriam Theater, Philadelphia. Civic Center and The Mann Music Center.

WDAS radio station & E Steven Collins hired Al’s company Outta Sight Productions to provide sound for Unity Day on the Philadelphia Parkway for 10yrs. During that time Al successfully bid & won the contract at the Dell Music center in Philadelphia for 11yrs.

Al’s company was the first Afro America company to provide sound at the Dell.

Al has provided sound for Jill Scott, Vivian Green, Tina Marie, The Whispers, Rick James, Eric Roberson, Joe Thomas, Floetry, Peabo Bryson, Hezekiah Walker, Tye Tribbett, The Hawkins Family and many more.

Al doesn’t have a million dollar company but has the know how and the experience to provide a great sound experience.
